Terms and Conditions — CopyEnye.com Free Enye Reference

Effective date: 4 September 2026 · Last reviewed: September 2026 · Contact: contact@copyenye.com

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of CopyEnye.com, the free reference for the enye letter (Ñ / ñ). By using our copy tool, alt-code tables, Unicode/HTML references, or typing guides, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The service we provide

CopyEnye publishes educational and technical reference content about producing Ñ and ñ (and related Spanish/Filipino special characters) on common devices and apps. Features include:

  • One-tap copy of Ñ / ñ and related characters
  • Verified Alt, ASCII, Unicode, HTML, hex and UTF-8 code tables
  • Step-by-step guides for Windows, Mac, phones, Word, Excel and Google Docs
  • Language hubs in English, Filipino and Spanish

The service is provided free of charge and without mandatory registration.

Acceptance of terms

Accessing or using CopyEnye.com constitutes acceptance of these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy. We may update these Terms; the “Last reviewed” date will change when we do.

Acceptable use

You may use CopyEnye for personal, educational, professional and documentary purposes — including typing names such as Niño, Peña, Muñoz and places such as Parañaque. You agree not to:

  • Attack, scrape abusively, or disrupt the site or its hosting
  • Misrepresent CopyEnye content as official government or Unicode Consortium legal advice
  • Use automated bulk harvesting in a way that degrades service for others
  • Attempt to inject malware or bypass security controls

Accuracy, testing and no warranties

We strive for E-E-A-T quality: codes are cross-checked against the Unicode Standard and Windows code pages, and methods are tested on real devices. Still, keyboards, OS versions, keyboard layouts and apps differ. Therefore:

  • Content is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee that every Alt-code path works on every laptop without a numpad
  • Official documents (passports, IDs) remain your responsibility — always verify spelling with the issuing authority

Found an error? Email contact@copyenye.com — we correct verified mistakes quickly.

Intellectual property

The CopyEnye name, site design, original explanations, and compilation of guides are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may quote short portions with attribution and a link to the source page for educational purposes. You may not republish entire guides as your own product or mirror the site commercially without permission.

The letter Ñ itself is a character in public character sets (Unicode); we claim no ownership of the letter.

Third-party sites and apps

Guides may mention Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, Apple, Android and other products. Those names are trademarks of their owners. CopyEnye is not affiliated with Microsoft, Google, Apple or Meta. Links to third-party resources are for convenience only.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CopyEnye and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from use of the site — including rejected forms, passport mismatches, or encoding issues (for example the ñ mojibake problem) in systems outside our control. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the site.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify CopyEnye against claims arising from your misuse of the site or violation of these Terms.

Governing considerations

CopyEnye serves a global audience with a focus on the Philippines and Spanish-language users. Disputes will be handled in good faith via contact@copyenye.com. Where a local consumer law gives you mandatory rights, those rights apply.
